Overview
The purpose of this workshop is to highlight recent advances in magnetism with a special highlight on those areas where contributions of Igor Dzyaloshinskii are recognized as very important: multiferroics, spintronics, frustrated magnetism etc. This workshop will include both theoretical and experimental presentations of internationally recognized scientists on all these topics. It will target a broad audience (graduate students and academic researchers) interested in current developments in the field of magnetism. The presence of I. Dzyaloshinskii this day should be exciting: all those who attended in recent years his seminars (in Grenoble or elsewhere) could appreciate his openness and critical thinking.
Location
The Workshop will be held on September 9, 2011 at ESRF Auditorium in Grenoble, France.
